LG Showcases Asia Growth Strategy at 2026 InnoFest

LG Electronics is hosting its largest regional showcase of the year in Busan, South Korea, this week. LG InnoFest 2026 APAC runs through April 10, bringing together more than 200 partners and media representatives from roughly 20 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. The event centers on products and strategies tailored specifically for Asian markets.

Expanding the Laundry Room

The company is rolling out an expanded clothing care lineup aimed at diverse housing situations across Asia. A new 25-inch WashTower model joins existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions, offering options for smaller living spaces common in the region. Top-load washers now feature AI DD technology that adjusts wash motions based on fabric type and soil level, while TurboWash 3D completes cycles in under 30 minutes. An automatic detergent dispenser reduces the need for constant refills.

LG’s WashCombo represents the latest in drying solutions, combining washing and drying in a single unit using Inverter HeatPump technology. The focus on energy efficiency addresses concerns about electricity costs among Asian consumers. For commercial settings, LG plans to introduce a washer-dryer HeatPump Combo following strong demand in Korea, building on more than a decade of semi-commercial experience.

Kitchen Products Designed for the Region

Refrigerators feature a new Fit and Max design with a Zero Clearance Hinge, allowing built-in installation without wasted space against walls. The Ice Solution addresses high ice consumption typical among Asian households, offering Craft Ice, Crushed, Cubed and Mini Craft options. A new dishwasher includes a one-hour wash-and-dry cycle using QuadWash Pro with four spray arms and microbubbles for cleaning from multiple angles. Dynamic Heat Dry Plus uses moisture-absorbing material to remove humidity and produce warm, dry air. Several models across premium and volume segments achieve A-grade energy efficiency.

For Southeast Asian markets, LG is introducing a built-in kitchen collection including ovens, cooktops and hoods. The Camera Oven uses an internal lens to identify ingredients and recommend cooking modes while monitoring surface color to gauge when food is ready.

Exhibition Experience

LG is hosting live commerce sessions for the first time at InnoFest, allowing partners in selected markets to engage with products directly from the event floor.
